City Illustration

Through this illustration driven magazine I revisited three diverse topics from different times of life that have come to define the concept of Home for me. With the purpose of giving a visual form to the experiences that I've had,

I explored my earliest memories growing up in India, hearing about the heroic tales of Lord Rama from the Hindu Epic, the Ramayana. To my years growing up in the city of Gurgaon, listening to my favorite rock band, Nirvana days on end, while reading Cobain's biography.

I wanted to pay homage to these seemingly contrasting influences, by appreciating the differences in their origin, culture, and aesthetic, yet attempting to blend all three under a consistent, visual umbrella.
